Ravel Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ravel, published by Harp Bhander (“Ravel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ravel mobile application.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

Ravel may create an anonymous player identifier and allows you to choose a public display name. We do not require your real name, email address, or phone number to play.

Gameplay and social information

We may collect scores, game mode, board date, streak information, gameplay statistics, leaderboard entries, friend codes, friend relationships, app version, and related game activity needed to provide the game and its social features.

Analytics and diagnostics

We may collect limited product-interaction and diagnostic information, such as session events, feature usage, app version, display mode, error information, and truncated device or user-agent information. We use this information to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Ravel.

Advertising information

Ravel uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google’s configuration, Google may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction, diagnostics, performance information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google may use this information to provide, measure, personalize, and improve advertising services.

Local notifications

If you enable Daily reminders, Ravel schedules local notifications on your device. Your selected reminder setting and time are stored locally on your device. Ravel does not use a remote push-notification server for these reminders.

How we use information

• Provide Daily and Rush gameplay.
• Save progress, scores, streaks, settings, and reminder preferences.
• Operate leaderboards, display names, friend features, and sharing features.
• Prevent abuse and enforce basic game and username rules.
• Measure performance, diagnose errors, and improve Ravel.
• Display and measure advertisements.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

Service providers

Ravel uses third-party service providers that process information on our behalf or for their own purposes:

• Supabase for backend data storage, leaderboards, player records, friend features, and related application services.
• Google AdMob for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent management.
• Apple for App Store distribution, device permissions, TestFlight, and operating-system services.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers described above, when required by law, to protect users or our services, or as part of a business transfer.

Data retention

We retain game and leaderboard information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Ravel, maintain records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Local app data remains on your device until it is deleted, reset, or removed by uninstalling the app. Backup or server records may persist for a limited period after deletion.

Your choices

• You may disable Daily reminders in Ravel or in iOS Settings.
• You may manage advertising and privacy choices through any consent or privacy options presented in the app and through your device settings.
• You may request access to or deletion of information associated with your Ravel player profile by contacting us. We may ask for your player code or other information needed to locate the correct record.

Children’s privacy

Ravel is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date.
